papandsons

Papadopoulos & Sons is an independent UK movie and film debut written and directed by Marcus Markou, a Brummie of Greek descent. Marcus is taking a radically innovative approach to getting his film to the people, self-distributing and using social media to reach those who will enjoy it the most.  The story is summarised in one single statement: only when you lose everything do you find it all. It follows the story of successful businessman, Harry Papadopoulos. Following his ruin in the latest banking crisis, Harry, a self-made millionaire, reluctantly re-unites with his estranged freewheeling brother to re-open the abandoned fish and chip shop they shared in their youth. We think Papadopoulos & Sons is really cool content. We’re delighted to have it as a Friend of the event.

Cool Content Coming Soon events are not-for-profit events that just couldn’t happen without our cool sponsors. Their financial and practical support are the reason that we’ve been able to keep ticket prices at an affordable level rather than the usually much higher prices for events like this.

We think very hard about the organisations that would be right for us to partner with. We don’t want to partner-up with just anyone! So we’re proud and happy to use this space to big them up and recommend them to your attention.
